Scores of festive boxes, bows, wrapping, ribbons, cards, baubles and crackers lined the shelves of a city department store.
Sparkling red, green, silver and gold glittering cover every inch of the Paperchase concession inside the Birmingham branch of the Selfridges shop.
Alongside the decorative bits and bobs were Christmas-themes gifts featuring tiny festive trees, xmas puds, sleighs, gingerbread people and nutcrackers.
