Paul Conway's dog accepts delivery of Hermes parcel

Hermes Courier Takes Pic Of Dog ‘Accepting’ Parcel As Proof Of Delivery

"I found it quite funny as all you can see is the dog looking up at the package in courier’s hand."

A DOG took delivery of a parcel after being snapped on the doorstep by the courier to prove it had got there. HGV driver Paul Conway got a shock when he checked the tracking status of his order. The 61-year-old had bought some sunglasses online and they were being delivered by Evri – formally Hermes. But his pooch Mazie had got to the front door of his home in Northolt, west London first.

Married dad-of-one Paul said: “It looks as though they are delivering it to my dog.

“I found it quite funny as all you can see is the dog looking up at the package in courier’s hand.

Trucker Paul – who lives with his wife Jane – has had Mazie, eight, since she was a puppy.

He added: “The courier knocked on the door and my wife opened it to receive the package.

“But she was behind the door still.

“So they just took a photo of our dog.”
