Clumsy muntjac gets wedged between a fence in Surrey garden

A clumsy muntjac got stuck UPSIDE DOWN wedged between a garden fence and a shed.

The hapless animal was trying to scamper out of a backyard.

He was unable to free himself and was trapped all night.

Clumsy muntjac gets wedged between a fence in Surrey gardenThe homeowner had to call in the RSPCA to get him out in Stoneleigh, near Epsom, Surrey.

A spokesperson for the animal charity said: “This muntjac managed to land on his back while attempting to escape a garden. 

“Having been stuck all night he was a little wobbly but soon recovered.”

Tracy Kimpton said: “Poor thing looks terrified.

“He was lucky he was rescued.”
