"Liya stumped me when we were in a restaurant. She moved the cup with the power of her mind"
URI Geller’s grandchildren have inherited his psychic powers and can move objects with their MINDS, their spoon-bending grandad claims.
Uri claims Romi, six, and Liya, three, send him messages across the world from their LA home to his in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
He said he has also seen stray cats “mesmerised” by them, with the moggys freezing in place when they happen upon the two youngsters.
He has also seen the eldest, Romi, move a glass of water with her mind and has even walked in on her with bent spoons – although he is not sure if she did this physically.
And now the celebrity mystifier thinks they may be part of a new generation of spiritual leaders – born to usher in a Golden Age for the planet.
Geller, 75, claims the girls are “Indigo Children” who could one day save the world.
He explained: “I sometimes see spoon bending but I am not sure if they have done it physically or mentally.
“But definitely they are telepathic – they are mind readers, they are unbelievably intuitive.
“Liya stumped me when we were in a restaurant. She moved the cup with the power of her mind.
“It was extraordinary. I don’t know if this psychic force will stay with them or they will grow out of it.
“I look at it as no big deal because I am used to it. But other people are shocked by seeing their psychic demonstrations.
“There is definitely something either in the chromosomes or in a psychic connection.”
Wacky Geller had his first encounter of the third kind when he was just five-years-old, and shortly after found he could activate his powers.
But now, 70 years on, he believes his powers are being transmitted through his family.
Uri believes that his grandkids are “Indigo Children” – spiritual leaders born to usher humanity into a new Golden Age by changing the world’s social paradigm.
The theory is based on ideas developed by Nancy Ann Tapp in the ‘70s – who noticed children being born with special or supernatural powers.
Uri said: “Indigo Children possess extreme empathy, sensitivity and very, very high levels of intuition and psychic ability – an innate spirituality and deep desire to help the world.
“Stray cats freeze in their place and walk over to Liya – I have never seen anything like it!
“Romi and Liya are also not huge fans of school, super artistic and gifted storytellers whose energy feels inspiring and very authentic.
“They are extremely unique and psychic.”
In stunning videos Romi has described aliens to Uri, describing their small, green heads and even their spacecraft.
The cutlery-menace continued: “I never told that to her and she said it.
“This is without seeing any movies about aliens or me telling them.
“It is amazing. I’m just stunned where they are deriving, or where they are extracting this information from!”
Uri has shared this special bond with his family before, being able to send psychic messages to both his daughter, Natalie and son, Daniel.
He now sends messages to his grandchildren, despite a gap of over 7,500 miles.
Romi and Liya’s mum, Natalie Kaldef, 39, said: “They definitely share a very special bond with Uri – unlike anything I have ever seen before.
“A lot of the time they think the same things and sometimes I wonder whether they are transmitting things to each other.
“Sometimes Romi will say to me that she feels that she gets a message from my dad psychically.
“I had things with him growing up so it could very well be that it has passed down through the genes.”
Uri frequently sends them messages asking Romi and Liya to call them when they leave school, knowing that it will be their only chance given the 10 hour time difference.
On one occasion, he even foresaw that they would see a snake on their hike – leaving his grandkids amazed when it turned out to be true.
“A lot of the time when I was thinking about things my dad would know exactly what I was thinking.
“I remember wanting various pets when I was young and the next day I wake up and there is a rabbit in the house!
“My dad would say: ‘I read your mind yesterday and I knew you wanted one.”
“Another time I couldn’t find a school book and if I couldn’t hand it in I would have to pay for it.
“I asked him where it was, and he said it was in my bedroom, in a shoebox in my cupboard.
“I had looked for it all over my room, but I went and hand a look again and lo and behold it was in the shoebox, just like he said it was.”
Uri leaped into the limelight in his 20s as an entertainer, also using his powers for the Israli secret services and even the CIA.
But his family didn’t see this as anything unusual – and saw their dad’s abilities as part of everyday life.
Natalie continued: “I thought that everyone’s Dad could do stuff like that and everyone’s parent was on television. But I see that with my daughters – it’s no big deal to them.
“It’s nice to see that they’re not fazed by things like that and they are believers in his powers. I think that’s what helps transmit things to them as well.”
