DAILY multivitamins are pointless and you’d be better off necking a glass of water, boffins say.
Scientists at Harvard Medical School and the Cambridge Health Alliance said the average multivit doesn’t contain any real health benefits for a normal adult.
The team said the pills should only really make a difference if you have certain issues like gastrointestinal problems or are following a highly-restrictive diet.
It comes after a US study published earlier this year found: “Vitamin and mineral supplementation was associated with little or no benefit in preventing cancer, cardiovascular disease, and death.”
