Great dane trashes owners house while he was out

"She had fun to say the least"

A MISCHIEVOUS mutt ended up in the dog house after trashing her owner’s house while he was out.

Shocked Sam Roberts came home to find his Great Dane – called Nelly – had gone barking mad and wrecked his living room.

He had only popped out for a few hours and left her unattended.

But the bored 10-month-old pooch tore up a plant with soil covering the cream carpet and the sofa messed up.

The pup – sporting a cone collar – looked sheepish about the destruction she had caused.

She was lying on a mound of the mess, atop an upturned sofa cushion, with the soil, shredded plant leaves and other chewed up trinkets scattered around.

But the 30-year-old saw the funny side and even wrote his pet’s name in the soil for a laugh while cleaning up.
