THIS is the incredible moment a dolphin cheekily cocked its head at tourists while flying through the air off the Welsh coast.
The spectacular photo, taken by wildlife guide Sarah Michelle Wyer, shows a young female bottlenose dolphin frolicking in the sparkling seas of Cardigan Bay.
Others show dolphins throwing salmon out of the water and gobbling them up.
Sarah, 28, was working on a Dolphin Spotting Boat Trip at the seaside town of New Quay when she snapped the stunning picture last week.
She has been a guide for the company after completing her internship at the Sea Watch foundation.
The foundation said: “Her enthusiasm for dolphins was noticed by the boat trip company which has been taking people out on the water for almost 70 years.
“Sarah’s love of photography and dedication to getting the moment has paid off for her with this amazingly cute dolphin photo which she will add to her collection.”
Cardigan Bay is the home of the only two semi-resident populations of bottlenose dolphins in the UK.
The Sea Watch Foundation, with the support of dolphin spotting boat trips, have been monitoring the population for over 20 years.
