KANYE West’s new shoes have been slammed for looking like pasties.
The rap star, 45, launched the Yeezy 450 Sulphers in May and pairs are now selling for nearly £400.
But the stylish sneakers have been mocked, with fans saying they look like undercooked pastry and even banana pic n mix.
Ginsters, who have been making pasties for over 50 years, weighed in saying: “This looks familiar.
“The secret of where Kanye West gets his inspiration is out.”
Another joked that they look like gyoza, saying: “I’ll have them, but only if they come with the soy and rice vinegar dip. I’m not keen on the sweet chilli.”
The trainers come in a “resin” colour and feature a sock-like design.
The sole is intended to have a “tooth-like” shape, which wraps around the shoe to form a supportive cage.
But David Belcher warned the Chicago multi-millionaire: “You could be infringing Greggs’ cheese and onion pasty copyright.”
Ally Shepherd added: “They remind me of those chewy bananas you got in a 10p mix up back in the day.”
A third, called Nancy, laughed: “Looks like the failed recipe I tried off pof TikTok.”
And Jose Burgos said: “What was the design inspiration for these? Stepping on yellow cake batter and doing a little spin?”
Others took to replying with pictures of pasta beneath people showing off that they had bought a pair of the expensive shoes.
The Gold Digger singer last month slammed Adidas, who make his Yeezy designs, for “blatant copying” of his shoe designs for their new sliders, saying they were “fake Yeezys.”
