90% of men would rather smell good then look good

A sweet 39 per cent said smelling good makes them happy. 

And when asked what compliment they would most like to receive, “you smell great” came top with 55 per cent saying it’s the best praise around.

It was shortly followed by 50 per cent of men liking being told they’re funny and  and 47 per cent liking being told they’re fun to be around. 

A humble 43 per cent think being told they have a great body is the best compliment.

The study commissioned by men’s grooming brand Lynx wanted to know how men view their self-image. 

Over a third of young men said they’d look after themselves this summer, as well as spend lots of time with people they love.

Almost 25 per cent of men said they will ensure they smell good at all times through the hot months.
